#theprintswap Being a visual storyteller I find myself focused on connections - between viewer and subject, between two subjects, with inanimate objects, etc. Perhaps because of this I want to explore missed connections and the invisible imprint they leave on us. Sometimes an avenue not pursued makes for compelling stories.
I look at this photo and can remember the sound of the roaring water, the smell of ozone and wet leaves filling the air. Even the dampness soaking through my pant leg as I knelt down to take the shot. It’s crazy how a moment can imprint in your mind so vividly, and all it takes is a photo to let it come rushing back.
