I learned this new word last week, apparently up to 50% of Americans are too intimidated by the gym to go exercise.
▫️
And not just the, gym, there are various different versions. People are intimidated to go out and run, to go to group exercise class, to go to yoga, the weight room, to exercise next to a person of the opposite sex, to exercise next to a fit person, to exercise on their own, they're not sure what to do or how to do it. And it doesn't stop there, apparently eating healthy is intimidating too, people aren't sure what foods to choose, which diet to follow, which magic pill to buy. When to eat it and how much or for how long.

There seems to be no end to what people are intimidated by, and really with the amount of misinformation out there there is no wonder.
▫️
Not to mention those intimidating gym rats that self righteously strut around intimidating people.
But you know what, 98% of all gym rats and fit people aren't trying to be intimidating nor do they feel they're better than anyone else. They are just there doing their thing and honestly if asked, most would probably help out a newbie.
Sure there are the assholes and bitches out there, but those are a minority.

Most people when starting out, tend to over think and over complicate this whole thing. If you are just starting out it doesn't have to be that complicated. Just start doing something, even if it's just go for a walk.

Walking is free, it's effective, you can do it anywhere and it's a great way to start.
▫️
Then focus on not eating junk food, and getting your protein, and veggies in. And drink water.
Starting out can be just that easy. Walk, protein, vegetables, water. ▫️
Ask a profesional, like yours truly on what to do next. Or research yourself and continue on. Just remember if something promises quick results and minimal work, it's probably not worth it.

Don't let over thinking, fear or uncertainty stop you from reaching your goals.

A mesma coisa acontece com o treino de musculação, me dá verdadeiro desespero, ao ver a pessoa inclinando, pulando, plantando bananeira, segurando elástico em uma mão, halter em outra, e sobe em caixa, e desce, e pula, e dá pirueta... Não precisa disso, use exercícios básicos, bem executados, com carga justa, no máximo um bi-set, drop, isometria e pronto!!! Monday is Glute Day : activate your glutes 1st! Ex.) Squat Jumps 3 sets of 10/ Switch Jumps 3 sets of 18 counts total) / Standing body weight kick backs 3 sets of 10 each leg. (* Focus on the muscle contraction) 
The Workout:
-Smith Machine Glute Kickback (This will feel awkward your 1st time, use the safety stops at the bottom to ensure the bar does not fall on you) start with no weight & practice(3 sets of 10 ( challenging but safe weight) -Hip thrust - Tips ( 1sec hold at top, drive through heels, toes pointed slightly outward, thrust as upward as possible, squeeze & hold 1 sec )
1) Place bench like seen in video. Warm up with 45lb ( or what suits you ) this weight should be attainable but not too light( 12 reps)
2) second set I go up to 45 & 25 lb each side / or just go up from your warm up weight by 10-25 lbs( 10 reps) 
3) 3rd set two 45lb plates each side ( or obviously up your weight again from 2nd set) for 8 reps
4) 4rth set drop weight back down to starting weight with added 10lbs each side ( or in my case I used a 45lb and 10lb) this set is 15 reps. ∆again focus on 1 second hold at the top
-Elevated Goblet Squat
If you do not have this set up you can do this unelevated, or get creative and use the gray platforms used in most gyms or plates
-Reverse Weighted Hyper 
I'm sure I'm not the first to do it but I actually thought this one up myself & love it.  You'll need a thick elastic band to run through the weights & secure around ankles by double wrapping.The idea is to fight against the resistance of the band by pushing knees apart throughout the workout. This exercise will hit all 3 glute muscles. It's fantastic. As always feel the contraction and connect your mind to the muscle.(3 sets of 12 small weights in the band
-Seated hip abduction

This came up on my “memories” today. 
I don’t look like this anymore and I’m fine with that. I’ve grown so much mentally, and spiritually which is way more important than just being a dude with “muscles”. I literally got addicted to the gym and made it my life pretty much and pushed a lot of people away. If that’s your life, cool more power to ya. I’m just past that point in my life, I wasn’t actually happy and every “bodybuilder” knows the first day in the gym, is the day you will forever be small; never satisfied. Well I’m pretty satisfied with my life without the gym being a big priority. I have new things I’m passionate about. 
Life is to short to focus on 1 thing and be in that kind of mode all the time. Spend time with family, travel, get out doors, do things that scare you, learn new things. 
I’m sorry for the long post but this is important to me. I’m just proud of myself for growing. This isn’t a shot at bodybuilding in any way. Just based on my life and what I want out of life.

Truth is,  I don’t rely heavily on supplements.  Most of the protein I get is from real food.  I do take fish oil tablets everyday after I have lunch. ( For my fellow Muslims, get your fish oil at @noorvitamins.  Most of the fish oils that you find at regular stores have pig fat lol ). I usually stock up on Plant Based Protein and Whey Protein.  Whey and Plant Base protein do NOT make you jacked.  It’s a supplement that helps you keep up with your daily protein intake.  It is not necessary if not needed.  I do not recommend taking creatine due to how heavy it is on your heart, kidneys, and liver.  People say it’s a myth, but there has been many people who have had damaged kidneys due to creatine.  If you want to take it, then you do you.  But keep in mind, DRINK LOTS OF WATER.  Whether you take it or not,  if you are going to take supplements,  drink plenty of water.  The minimum 8 cups a day is NOT going to do the trick.  Keep your body hydrated! • •
