Moments from Tokyo ⛩ I had the opportunity to revisit Japan recently and it reminded me of my first travels to the country a few years back. The experience was very transformative - I was super inspired by the architecture, design and overall aesthetics. I was also pleased to see how much of their culture is maintained considering the countries technological advancements and the general side effects of globalization. Every corner of Tokyo is exciting and filled with yummy food 😋
I’ve heard it all, from the people i cared about to the people who barely knew me. But what seems apparent in my journey to making it somewhere is you have to start small to make it big. I lived by those words does and would soon regret it.
Making it somewhere not mean sacrificing your principles to accomplish your dreams or goals; To live without your principles means forgetting the person you are. Being someone I’m not isn’t helping me if I’m putting up a fake facade for everyone to notice me.
A heart of pure gold is who I am. I prefer to be myself and do the things that will make me happy. So if the world notices me, they’ll truly know the person I am. Not someone who follows the crowd but the one who leads it.
