#WisdomWednesday : When I first started in Sound Effects, I knew how things were suppose to sound...but I hadn’t developed my vision just yet on “WHERE” to locate & place them into my projects. I often played with effects, practiced on my piano...only to hate what I originally wanted. Then being annoyed because I spent an hour or more on ONE effect. Anyone who knows me, knows that I HATE wasted time. Lol Once I started to get more comfortable with SFX, the speed and momentum really picked up. This piece took me about 2-3 days to finish. Working with audio really taught me about DUALITY, and learning to flow with the motion of sound/music. Sometimes I would just take unnecessary breaks, and listen to music/effects...just allowing it to speak to me. I think there’s no such thing as time when you’re flowing in the motion/sound. Like the ocean, just let the waves wash you...yes? 🤔
I haven’t animated in a while, so I decided to start out my idea with some limited animation and slowly add different elements to the action! I’ll be sharing the progress of how it goes in the next few days :)
Don't miss out on #AfterEffectWorld next week! There is still time to join us and build your skills!! (Link in bio)
