He had 12 wins from 2009-2013.
2009- the car was bad, it may have finished 3rd in the constructers, but Hamilton finished 5th which is not exceeding, but it's meeting the expectations given the car was 3rd in the constructers, his teammate, Heikki, finished 12th.
2010- he outperformed his teammate, finished 4th, but was only 16 points from the title.
2011- was the worst for him, finishing fifth and getting outperformed by Jenson, but Vettel was 100+ points ahead of everyone that season, so even if he did outperfom Jenson, it would've been a hollow victory
2012- was 4th in the 3rd best car, outperforming his teammate.
2013- finished 4th with the 2nd best car which is meeting expectations and outperformed Nico.
He at least met expectations in every season except from 2011, where RB were unbeatable. I'd say that's pretty good considering he never had the best car, sometimes had 3rd best car. He doesn't make that many mistakes at all and before the Mercedes dominance he won the WDC with McLaren.

#McLaren at #Goodwood Revival
13th - 15th #September#2019
Goodwood Revival is known for bringing rare and unique vehicles out of their garages, in order to take to the legendary circuit. But that’s not all – there is a vintage fairground, roller rink, revival car show featuring thousands of classic cars, revival cinema, exclusive Bonhams Auction and vintage shopping to enjoy.
Convertible supercars generally come with compromise - you can't have the roof down and still blast around town at eye-watering speeds. But that's no longer necessarily true
Enter the Mclaren 720S Spider, capable of going form 0-100kph in just 2.9-seconds, and with a top speed 325kph (and all with the roof down) #mclaren#720s#spider#motor#cars
