For Close Grip Bench I wouldn’t start with that Exercise first! Due to the fact that it does primarily work the triceps! But in this specific scenario I added it as a last working set with a 15/20 rep ranges going to failure on each to get that chest a good burn at the end! And after that I did continue with my triceps exercises!

MY "AHA" MOMENT

For me it was that moment when I realized what I wanted to do with my life. Growing up I wanted to be many things, an artist, a game designer, a writer and a wrestler. I was on the way to becoming a professional wrestler when a concussion sidelined me and I had to reevaluate my life. I chose not to return to the ring. 
I fell into a depression but realized I had extra time on my hands so I decided to go to the gym and better myself. Eventually I fell in love with weight training and started doing my own research to get better at it such as reading books and articles. Then one day I would over hear a client ask his trainer for exercise advice and the trainer didn't know the answer but was being rude about it as if taking offense to it. Not only that, but I knew the answer. That's when it dawned on me, that's when I had my Aha Moment... I decided I would become a Personal Trainer and help people better themselves. And I never looked back.

MY SOURCE OF INSPIRATION

My greatest inspirations have been myself, my family and my closest friends. I am inspired by myself in the fact that I aspire to always be better, to get stronger, to get smarter. My greatest competition is me. 
At the same time my family is my driving force. I have to keep bettering myself in order to protect the ones that I love most. Even if the day never comes, when I have to save one of their lives, I will be ready. 
I have a small circle of friends and I like it that way. We all support and encourage each other to be better and to go after what we want because that's what real friends do.

My biggest achievement to date is the constant self improvement I've been making to my mind and body, so in this case, my biggest achievement is still ongoing. I am currently improving on my mind through school but pursuing a Master's from the bottom. Community college first, followed by a University and eventually a Master's Degree. I also weight train 5 times a week in order to strengthen my body. My only limitation is me and I intend to always keep bettering myself no matter what.

Pretty much it's a some up of my other post this week. What keeps me going is my drive to succeed, my drive to do better and be better. To be the kind of man that my family and friends can be proud of. My drive will never cease simply because this doesn't have an end goal. This is my life. 
THE END GOAL

There is no end goal for me in sight and realistically their shouldn't be. I can say things like I plan to retire and never have to work another day in my life and/or to win some trainer of the year award but that's not what I'm doing this for.

I'm living my life the best way I can, and for me that means seeking ways to keep bettering myself through mind, body and spirit and finding ways to keep helping others.

BTN Jerk + BTN Press: 3 x (3+3)
- 50, 55, 55; Not recorded but wasn’t too easy 😂
Clean Pull: 135kg 4x4
- need a tighter back and keeping arms straighter 😅
Clean + Jerk: 6x(2+1) @ 110kg
- need to have better foot positioning on Jerk, a good cue used today for the clean was elbows up in front, rather than pulled back 🔥
10s Rack hold + 5s negative + 10s pause: 110, 120, 130
- was not easy 😅😅 definitely cut the time short

BW: 84.4kg

Gym session pic! From last night... I woke up with a killer headache and scratchy throat so I limped through the day at work until I could finally go home! Thought was make a quick dinner for me and my hubs then go to bed. But I came home to my amazing hubby making dinner! I got to lay in bed until it was ready, he made Caribou steak with rice topped with gravy, and a nice glass of red wine! ·
I'm now in bed with a second glass of wine with my book next to my love! 🥰
