Gratitude helps with our emotional and social life. It helps with our career, health, and personality. Just mentioning three things you are grateful for to yourself every day is enough to help you feel good, be more relaxed, more resilient, be less envious, more social, kinder, and give more attention to precious relationships.⠀
I try to remember to be grateful and thankful everyday and I truly believe this has helped me improve my sleep, be more optimistic, more spiritual, increased my productivity, and improved my decision making.⠀
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. The more grateful I am, the happier and centered I am. Oprah Winfrey once said “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough”, and that is absolutely true. If you find it hard to commit to being grateful, don’t worry, gratitude is not always experienced as a natural state of existence, we must work on it, think of it as a heart muscle that needs strengthening. A piece of advice, concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, regardless how impactful or mundane it is in your life.
