Stampede Methodology 003: Our kids trusting us is extremely important. It’s never about winning or losing games, but making kids realize their potential and learning to believe in themselves which will carry them further than any sport ever will! Our aim is to make our youth the best version of themselves!
Getting caught up in football is all to easy. We emphasize that it’s not our job to teach players their local high school system (They pay folks do that) but we simply want to pass along a kid who loves the game, is determined, and will show up and work hard! That’s the best thing we can pass to a high school program.
We should all take our role as mentors very seriously, because we enter these kids lives at crucial times. Some coaches don’t understand (or don’t care) the impact that of kid having a bad experience with a coach can affect a kid. Some will turn away from the game and sometimes turn to worse (the streets). Our role as mentors is the most important thing to me in regards to our program. You have to care enough and be aware of what motivates a kid. Some Kids you have to be firm with, and some you have to encourage. Our goal is to make them realize their worth/potential. I thank GOD for the gift of discernment in that I am usually pretty good at sensing when to be firm and when to be encouraging. It does matter......they all matter!#stampedementorgroup#HORSEPOWER
