Here's what we do!
My Women's Training classes are becoming more and more popular! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The classes run every Sunday for 6 weeks from 2-3pm @implexusgym, Leeds. The next programme runs from 21st July to 25th August - prices from just £42 for the WHOLE thing!
Here's a little more info on what to expect...
A typical session will start with a warm up then we will focus on technique of the weeks main exercise (think squat, deadlift, hip thrust etc). After this, in small groups, you'll have a go at adding some weight and perform the exercise usually along with some accessory exercises. This section takes one half of the session.
The second half usually takes place in the outdoor area of the gym where you'll perform a "HIIT" type circuit - things such as tyre flips, prowler (everyone's favourite!), battle ropes, ball slams, squats and so on. After this we usually have a "huddle" to check the weeks progress, ask questions, receive your homework 😉 and I try to teach you something also - I try to cover topics about calories, food groups, why we should aim to eat a high protein diet etc. Each session is different so you'll never get bored! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My aim for launching Women's Training (which has been running for over a year now!) was to allow women time in a gym environment to build confidence and learn how to lift weights properly without the fear of being watched by others. Each programme welcomes new women (and my regulars come back for more) - everyone is so, so lovely!

All about the KETO DIET.
Keto diet is a high fat, Adequate protein and low carbohydrate diet. The science behind this constitution is that it accustoms your body to use fat as a fuel source instead of Carbohydrates as there is very little carbohydrate content in the diet. When your body is deprived of carbohydrates it is put in a metabolic state starts producing and using ketones for fuel. This process is known as ketosis and hence the diet is known as a keto diet.
When someone is on keto diet they accustom their body to run on ketones, for that we need to switch from carbohydrates as a main fuel to fat as the main source which requires a minimum of 20-22 days. During these 20 days even if sugar is consumed once, blood glucose level increases, which makes ketosis ineffective and the body resumes using carbohydrates as a main source of energy.
Keto diet requires adequate intake of high fat and moderate protein. If the protein content is inadequate it leads to muscle breakdown to use protein as main source of energy, leading to muscle loss.
Once your body is adapted to use fat as a source of fuel and when you reduce the dietary fat the body will then start utilising its own fat stores for energy and that is how the fat burning process is elevated and hence keto diet with other health benefits provides excellent fat loss .

-Excellent fat loss benefits - Fat provides satiety for a longer duration
- Fat is fundamental unit for all cells and hormones
- Cholesterol levels are in check
- Beneficial for all metabolic diseases namely diabetes, thyroid, liver problems, heart diseases, etc
- Helps reduce acne.
Keto diet if not planned and followed properly can lead to side effects such as:
