@james.peltzer - When the fog rolls in... was out for a very impromptu photo walk with @rolandbast and @boundcast yesterday evening and, just as we thought we were done, a heavy fog started to roll-in off the river. I snapped this quick shot from the top of the Locks. (More to come)

Taking Gladys home! Josh is a back country ski guide here in the Kootenays, British Columbia and everyday he drives into the mountains with clients on a skoolie so he is pretty comfortable behind the wheel of Gladys. Hopefully I will learn how to drive her this summer...maybe in the long prairie flat stretches of Saskatchewan. (July 2017)

I wanted adventure, and despite cloudy skies and showers... we got our adventure. Alhumdullilah!
Our first day in Banff was a success. We kept it on ground level, since we are planning on hiking up the mountains tomorrow!! This way we got to truly appreciate the lakes and all things to see around the park all while having some amazing quality family time!
Our morning started at 6am - we enjoyed a nice breakfast together and started our explorations immediately afterwards! We ventured to Two Jack Lake where we spotted some real love wild mountain sheep (I LOVE wildlife and this was actually in the wild!!!) After admiring and watching them forever, we continued in to see Lake Minnewanka. It was truly one of the best sights we have seen so far. Subhanallah. We even walked on the ice to see how it would feel to walk over a frozen lake! Felt like rebels Haha ♡
Lunch was much needed after all that! After eating, feeling fully satisfied we decided to do some more exploring!! We went to Surprise Corner Viewpoint, where we could oversee the main mountain peaks! With the clouds it looked like something out a movie!!! We then went along Bow River to Bow Falls, where we just could not stop staring. It is truly amazing how incredible the sights are and pictures can never do these places justice. We walked all the way across, with Alisha strapped to my chest and stood there, admiring the beauty ♡ I could honestly have stayed there all day.
We decided it was time for Alisha to nap amd for us to pray Zuhr so we headed back to the hotel, relaxed, played a fun game and then left again to watch some HOCKEY - ending the night with perfect Game 5 WIN for the @mapleleafs !!
More adventures to come tomorrow ♡ Stay Tuned and Keep Smiling !!!
It’s been a busy week!! My 6 month US visa was up so I decided I better skedaddle before Trump came after me! 😋 So now I’m back in Canada!
But don’t worry, I’ve been working hard and have some amazing guests lined up to interview with incredible stories... I promise this is coming to you soon and will be worth the wait!
