I was rocking that sequin headband HARD, y’all.✨ #90sbaby ...But really, I was in LOVE with this outfit, so much so that I nonchalantly wore it around the house all the time (long after it didn’t fit right anymore.)😂 Yes, I still have it.
Dance was my life for years. Classes 3-5 nights a week, recitals, performances, competitions. But for some reason I never felt like I was good enough, probably because I don’t have a typical “dancers body” or maybe because, like most people, I’m just too hard on myself most of the time. (Something I continue to work on now in adulthood!) I eventually gave up dance in HS to play lacrosse, but I miss it every day... (and turns out lacrosse wasn’t really my thing, so I probably should have stuck with dance - but hey, that’s life!)
Dance is a form of self-expression like no other. There is nothing quite like throwing your inhibitions to the wind and just letting the music move you, body & soul.
Local friends, any suggestions for adult dance classes in the area?! Gotta get my groove back. Thanks! 😘 - Ave
