✨Yesterday Ruben & I officially hit that sweet spot of knowing each other for 10 years! April 24, 2009 I ventured out to the Blue Bubble Ballroom to see my cousin DJ some drum&bass and enjoy my newly single-and SO NOT READY to-mingle life! I had just broken up with my high school boyfriend that week, who was not meant to be my forever person. And I am so thankful that the timing of our lives just so happened to be on a dance floor. I remember Ruben walking towards me & I legit was like ‘what do I do?! What do I say?’ So when he asked me my name, I gave him a fake name 😹 I think I told him my name was Brittany. (I definitely don’t look like a Brittany lol). Before the night ended & he asked for my cell number, I was hesitant to say that I already lied to him & that my real name was Stefanie. He was so chill about it, he invited my friend & I over to his house. Of course we went & we kept it PG YOU GUYS lol We both fell head over heels after we talked on the phone for like 5 hours into the late night a few days later. ❤️❤️❤️When you know, you know.❤️❤️❤️ I used #huji on the second photo to give it that true old school feeling. It really does feel like I’ve known Ruben all my life✨ #youreallyaremyecstasy#tbt#throwbackthursday#igsatx#adecadeundertheinfluence#dancepartner#theloveofmylife
When you see your favorite AOS Dance Partner @jessicamowforth because I recognize those dancer legs and that booty anywhere! 💃🍑 and everyone stares at us because we get all extra with our booty shaking and photoshoots....but these peasants and common folk don't understand our love for each other! ❤ #dance#dancelife#dancefamily#dancefam#dancesquad#dancepartner#aostoronto
People often ask what its like working with your spouse.
Well, as cliche as it sounds: Team work makes the dream work. Dance is a partnership. You have to learn to work together, celebrate the wins, keep consistent, and keep your eyes on where you want to go.
Do you work with your spouse? How do you come together to make your business thrive?
What an experience #Coachella was. My first time attending a music festival solo and it was totally magical. I learned so much about myself and paid attention to the opportunities and signs the universe was presenting me with throughout my journey. I just kept moving. Didn’t hang with the same groups too long and just kept wandering and groovin, or else I would’ve became too comfortable and just stuck around and missed out on so many other interactions with amazing humans. Thank you to everyone that danced with me, traded kandi with me, gave hugs, kisses, and took time to get to know one another. You’re all beautiful. I’ll be flying solo more often. Highly recommend it to everyone. You’ll discover so much. Lots of growth. Peace & Love ☮️&💟 now what festival to hit next...🕺🏻
