Hi guys! First off I’d like to thank MaxShine for this amazing opportunity to test this polisher. This is the M550 3” rotary polisher. It is an excellent polisher and really works as well as you would hope. With an extremely easy user experience and the housing feel of a DA, the M550 makes it so much more simple for people who are “scared” of touching a rotary. This was my first time ever using one, and it was super smooth. A little vibration but not enough to make you wanna chop your arm off.
There’s one thing I did not like about it; the Maxshine pads. I barely made one pass and immediately took it off and switched to my Adams Polishes waffle style pads. The MaxShine pad did not feel smooth and the pad skipped around even when primed properly.
On a scale of 1-10, I give the M550 a solid 9.5 for ease of use, amazing results and price point! I would highly recommend this to someone who is looking to get into that “rotary lifestyle” and try something new. Like I said, it feels like you’re using a DA so don’t be scared! Most definitely look into this brand! Amazing people, and amazing products.
I’m liking the Crosstrek more and more everyday! @theladylo was wanting a shorter throw for her’s. We decided to go with the @boombaracinginc short shift plate for the 15+ WRX. Fits like a dream on the 18+ Crosstrek’s and paired with a weighted shift knob is awesome. Throws are much shorter and precise! Tip for anyone doing this install, the top bolt for the cover of the shift plate is a PITA to get off. Easiest was to attack it from the rear. Good news is that it won’t go back on so you don’t need to worry about getting the bolt back in. Other than that, I highly recommend this plate for anyone with a manual, I’ll be putting one on my WRX very soon. I already have multiple @boombaracinginc parts on my car and they are always extremely high quality pieces!
