Maternity harness back on... 2nd trimester begins. Still climbing, cheered on by the toddler! So glad I got the last couple of moves on this new blue 6C @harrowall ... I can see the grades coming down over the next few months! Hopefully I can climb until over 30 weeks like last time 🤞

I’m always so in awe of all the amazing moms who can keep up with climbing throughout pregnancy! Did you climb through your pregnancy? Tell us about your pregnancy climbing journey and don’t forget to tag #ParentsThatRock in your climbing adventures for your chance to be featured!
All I can do to stave off the extreme boredom that comes with nursing an injury, is look ahead to future adventures and back on past ones. Man, could I use some British Columbia in my life right about now 🏔🌲
Finally got this one done which is now my first full set of greys (6A-6C+\7A) 😁! I’ve spent around 4 hours on this problem alone and went it today after @climbvalley BETA video this afternoon. Absolutely love the feeling of sending a problem you’ve been working really hard on 💪😁. @newcastleuponclimb #progress @official_psychi
Melt out the ice climb.
With the rapidly rising temperatures this week Matt and I were unsure if we would find ice in condition to climb, plus with the high avi forecast we had to be really careful about where we went adventuring.
After checking it out the day before we decided to tackle Melt Out, WI3, 3 pitches. To beat the heat we got up super early and started climbing in the dark. We swung leads and got from bottom to top and back down again before the sun even came close to hitting the ice.
I think this is our favourite route this season!
