Bouldering season is starting soon here in the PNW! So it's time to start training, and get those climbing specific workouts onto your schedule. BUT don't forget about injury prevention! A climber without injury is more likely to send than those with 👍. #getpsyched
Because gender has absolutely nothing to do with competence. 🧐Knowledge is everything, don’t let a stereotype cloud your judgement when picking a trainer.
@intrepidmelanie guides @intrepiddean through the basics of how to climb - who would you rather holding your rope, the technically sound, knowledgeable person, specific to that particular kind of training, or the person with the right gender to match your pre determined stereotype? Think about it, now apply that to all of your training.
Someone climbed up on one of the counter height chairs we had in our kitchen... and tipped it right over 😱
So, even though her Great Grandpa B isn’t here to hold her and put ice on her forehead, he’s still watching out for her. We moved our counter height kitchen table into the dining room, and moved this sweet little table that he made into the kitchen.
Much less of a height to fall from, because we all know this little climber won’t be discouraged by a bump on the head 🤕🙄
Managed to put down The Hump V7. Pretty lost for words didn’t not think I was going to put it away still don’t know how I did it. Persistence and visualization definitely played a huge part. Psyche is high, just happy to see things come together.. Congrats to @thee.mightymouse for ticking off Deep Woods Off V7. Thanks to everyone for hanging tight @cornnnnns @pedrodomus @liamisprettycool @mike_mcbride__ Thanks for filming @jepan70
So a few weeks ago, I gave Acey his crib back since the kids kept waking up at 4am cause I think one would wake up and go bother the other, and that seemed to fix the problem. But today for his nap he has CLIMBED the crib and the gate and opened the door continuously! So he's been hanging out here and finally just went to sleep. 💤 😴
“Il Cubo” (Italian for “the cube”) is a rather unknown big area of boulders in the woods at the bottom of the valley, right off a village called Arnad. We had no topos so had to randomly choose what to get on. Most problems are sandbags anyway 😁
Had the time to warm up and pick a couple projects before it got too chilly, then we just went off to bouldering indoors instead 🤪
