It's been a hard week, coping with the death of a good friend and the Upgrade of the database I run - the culmination of the last 8 months of work. Celebrated the successful end of the upgrade with an #alecbradleycigars#thetempusnigaragua#cigar and a coffee.
Have always been intrigued by cigars from countries less represented in the cigar world. Jamaica once had a solid reputation for producing fine cigars and unique and delicious tobacco. In 1988, however, Hurricane Gilbert swept through and caused severe damage to the Island, and among other things, devastated the Jamaican cigar industry. The lack of global support for Jamaica’s economy has contributed to the slow recovery and thus made Jamaican cigars or cigars containing Jamaican tobacco harder to come across. In my search for it, I came across the Temple Hall brand. At the very least it is a cigar with some Jamaican tobacco in it. It was well rolled and burned nicely. Otherwise not much flavor. light Connecticut style smoke. I did find it to be pleasant. Nutty and kind of bread like in notes, I guess. #cigar#cigaroftheday#ElLay#silverlake#jamaica 🇯🇲 ordered from @jrcigars
