A year ago Marie told I should do the CrossFit Open. I said she was crazy and I’d do it “next year” We’ll next year came and I was equally unprepared as the year before.
Could’ve not done anything as my shoulder is currently about 75% tops. Marie would have been nice and let me off the hook. But I would have felt like a scum bag.
Rarely, if ever, are circumstances ideal. Should prepare, train, and work to get better at whatever you’re doing? Of course.
Sometimes you just gotta get after it though. If you think about every reason you shouldn’t do something, you’ll never do anything.
In the end, I’m grateful that @mcreynoldsburks pushed me to do this. It got me out of my comfort zone and did some hard work I never would’ve dome otherwise. So stop dwelling on why you shouldn’t do something and get after it 👊🏻

Physique update! I started the cut slowly, not going to drop my weight a lot. Doing cardio and cutting sweets is helping a lot. Also, I was able to achieve this physique in 7 years... It takes hard work and determination💪🏻#trainingwithdiabetes
