@sampa_the_great is really living up to her name with her latest album, The Return. In the latest edition we talk to the Zambian-born, Botswana-raised musician who now calls Australia home about imposter syndrome, taking her music back to Zambia and cultivating confidence.
“With The Return, it’s no longer a question of finding myself and who I was,” she told us. “It was like: this is me.” 🎶

By far one of the most incredible parts of this trip, and still looking back. Peep the lion cubs in the background and a full 50 min of watching playtime at sunset, waiting for Mom to come home, with a gin and tonic in hand to really round out the experience.
There’s no easy way to capture this trip of a lifetime, knowing we’ll likely never make it back in exactly this way. Life throws curveballs, but there might be no better place filled with more once-in-a-lifetime moments and surprises to match.
