How long have you been doing Bar Method? .
About 7.5 years now! For most of my pregnancy, I was lucky enough to be able to stick to my regular 5 classes per week. In my 3rd trimester I consistently made it to class 4 days per week. .
Why did you decide to continue doing Bar Method during your pregnancy?
Well, I don’t think I could ever give up Bar Method! It’s something I do for myself every day and it makes me feel strong and forget the stresses of the day. Physical fitness is very important to me so when I found out I was pregnant, I knew that Bar would help me feel like myself while my body and life were going through these massive changes. I also knew it would be a safe for me and my baby. .
Have you noticed any specific benefits from taking classes?
I’m convinced that all these years of Bar, and keeping with my routine during pregnancy, has helped keep my energy up so that I didn’t experience a lot of the fatigue that often comes with pregnancy. It’s also helped me to stay strong and gain a healthy amount of weight so I can bounce back quicker after baby. I also just love the peace and mental strength I gain from the workout- I know that if I can do this, I can do anything! Plus, I love that with a few minor modifications, I could continue to do all the things I did before becoming pregnant and that I was in good hands with instructors who still pushed me, but wanted to keep me safe as well. .
How awesome is Kendra and how adorable is Lenorah?! We can't wait to see them BOTH at the studio!! 😍😍 #barmethod#barmethodmama
