This shot is one of my most memorable adventures in my life because this guy and the other workers let me in on there platform. The one that they were working on is a long highway above the river. It's dangerous but still I'm thankful that they let me in and wear a safety helmet. I was literally standing on a under construction skyway. One of the pillars. I hope they don't get in trouble or something. They're cool dudes!
Beach views & smoke bombs

We slept in a hotel 12 km from kraków airport that night.
Went for a pizza on the evening and worked out funds. Everything had been written down as we went, so that we could work out everything with ease. I spent £281.48. All in. That's it. It'll be less if I can get my currency exchanged back at a cheaper rate than todays.
Alarms were set for 4.30am.
Dropped lew at kraków airport at 5am, here's the sunrise.
He flew at 7am.
I drove over to katowice Airport, 60 miles away, and dropped the car off at 9am and flew home at 11.35am
So I was here from Monday at 7pm till Friday at 9am when I dropped the car.
So that's not even 5 days. 5 days would be 120 hours.
I was here 86 hours. And I only slept 18 of that.
So for less than £300 -
I knocked 3 things off my bucket list. 2 of which were free.
Fired a gun.
Visit a tripoint.
Drove 1063 miles through 5 countries. 3 of which were new. I drove in all 5.
Crossed over 18 borders, and 6 individual ones.
Drove on own, on right (and abroad) for first time. Twice.
Went to the highest points of 3 countries.
Did 2 in a day. Did 3 in 29 hours.
Climbed mountains; rysy and Sněžka. Rysy I'm particularly proud of, what a mountain.
Saw the differences of each country as you crossed a border, saw the rural parts of each one, saw the cities of Budapest, Bratislava and Katowice, plus so, many, towns. All different, all unique.
Went to 5 countries in a day.
Ate in 5 countries in a day.
Drove the full length of slovakia north to south in one day, and the full length of the Czech Republic south to North on another.
Used 4 currencies.
I even had the weekend to recover when I got back.
My senses have been engorged.
Fantastic road trip @lewis.c.coleman #TAKEHIM#roadtrip#poland#slovakia#hungary#austria#czechrepublic#bucketlist#sunrise#europe
Site of the largest mass murder in the world.
1.1 million dead just here.
Thats more than the total of British and American losses in the whole of Ww2.
In hindsight, makes me feel sick for having it on my bucket list.
But, its just something you just need to see.
Mans darkest hour.
So hard to process everything that went on here.
Walked 2 miles round auschwitz 2 and 1 mile round auschwitz 1.
Been watching a full detailed documentary series on it since coming back.
I find I need to keep saying to myself it's there for remembrance #harrowing#auschwitz#oswiecim#poland#poland🇵🇱#europe#roadtrip#eurotrip#bucketlist#concentrationcamp
At last, a hotel. Much needed shower, change of clothes and a bed.
That's what we drove that day #missions
But the highest peaks of 3 countries in 29 hours 🤙
There was a rediculously big tesco by the hotel, just walked around it aimlessly. Ended up forgetting what I wanted. So just bought water.
It had a ball pit, too late for kids to be about so I just got in it. That vid shows a state of mind. Been a long day, it was all like a mini dementia, looking for a phone in a ball pit thats in your mates hands.
Gave up walking round tesco and had polish maccies.
Slept like a baby.
And the 2 hour jaunt down south to my next bucket list win.
"Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books."
Which type of learner are you? From books or from nature?
Either way, Happy Earth x Book Day!
