Spiraling over the Tangalooma wrecks. This cluster of 15 ships has been here for nearly 60 Years. Had a blast spending the afternoon exploring this location and discovering the life that lives below. #tangalooma#australia#droneshots
I was in Arai for a photowalk this March when I saw a senior figure quietly sitting on a park bench. He had those eyes which make you want to sit down and listen to all the stories they’ve witnessed. I thought they looked familiar. Charmed, I approached him and asked for a photograph. He shrugged nonchalantly, as if being photographed randomly in the park by a stranger was no out-of-the-ordinary occurrence. Sweet, I thought. Most of the strangers I photograph are a little camera shy. This was new. I showed him the photograph and he beamed. I felt like a happy kid who had just earned her Grandpa’s praise. At home, my Mum was going through my shots from the day, when I heard an excited scream. “Ishuuuu! Dr. Shriram Lagoo tula kuthe bhetle?!” That was it! I thought he looked familiar. Dr. Shriram Lagoo. A Legend adored by my Mum and thousands of movie buffs. He has acted in over 100 Hindi and Marathi films, over 40 Marathi, Hindi and Gujarati plays, and has directed over 20 Marathi plays. Throwback to the day I stumbled upon one of the greatest thespians of all time.
P.S. Fun Fact - He once operated on My Grandfather’s Septum lol. #listentoyourelders#theyhavethemostrandomstories
