...✨DEWI SRI ✨... She is the goddess of prosperity and rice and a wife of Shiva. (She is the Indonesian version of the Indian goddess Lakshmi)
The Balinese place offerings to her in shrines inside their magnificent rice fields and she deeply worshipped island-wide . 🕉🙏🏻 A friend and I came across this magnificent statue of her on a road I had walked by many many times but never noticed her tucked away behind a gate. 💫
So many hidden treasures tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of busy Ubud streets. ✨🕉

Remember making dens & forts out of blankets & cushions when you were younger? Do you remember how it was the cosiest place ever? That’s just what our van feels like at night when our bed is made up & our curtains are drawn (& we haven’t even put our fairy lights up yet!)

Hang on to your hats! If there’s any view worth climbing for, it’s this. No worries…we’ll wait while you go add the seaside cliffs of Santorini to your must-see list. 🇬🇷 || #VacationsCount 📷: @littlebigtraveller
Some insights on our Haiti project from @project509haiti co-founder Jesse Baker @jb_phd: Our number one priority is on sustainability. It is the foundation of any successful aid project and it is achievable by fully engaging and empowering the local community. Sustainability begins with trust.
All construction projects are directed by a
community member who has undergone training for this specific cistern design. Each village where a new cistern is built provides the hard labor to dig the hole for the cistern... the most difficult part of the process and is sweat equity for community investment in the project. We build rainwater harvesting systems in remote mountain communities in Haiti. There is no running water, electricity, or road access where we work. The only way up to the mountains is by foot, donkey or motorcycle taxi.
Prior to building this rain catchment systems, women and children would commonly hike 3-5 hours round trip every day to collect drinking water from streams that are also used to wash clothes, bathe, and water animals; water from these streams is almost always contaminated, and water borne disease ... such as cholera ... is far too common.
Rainwater harvesting is the most effective way to improve access to clean drinking water in the area, which is experiencing rapid desertification and villagers are on the verge of becoming "climate refugees." #worldwaterday2019#Freewaters
As rad as the big, burly, powerful waterfalls can be, there's something really special and soothing about the way the light hits the delicate falls. Makes me want to sit there for a while and think about nothing.
“Showing my kids the world, and live on tropical locations” ... 🌴🌎🌴
It was “just” a dream 5 years ago. My dream. And Dirk’s.
And look where our dream brought my family ? 🙂
....Costa Rica today, since 7 months.
This morning Nick and I and the dog did a morning hike. School was closed today. .
“Cool! “, was my very first response in stead of “ shoot! I have to go to work what now ??!” (My past as employer)
We found mango’s and cool looking plants, birds...
And of course the view ! 🤗🌞!! .
Just saying this all not to brag, but to show you that Anything Is possible for you. As long as you dare to take the same leaps we took.
You want a life living abroad ? ✈️
Travel more ? Quit your job? Attract wealth to you in stead of sorrow? Fill in the blank .... 😊
It’s possible !
What matters is that you HAVE a dream and you know exactly what it is.
Then you need a mentor and formula and a strategy to accomplish it. It requires work and investment in resources ... I assure you that!
Money won’t fall out of the sky when you don’t know what you’re doing or where you’re going.
Stop wondering around. Define your ultimate definition of freedom and find a mentor who can show you how. (Treat your dream seriously not as a hobby! and making profits with your passion needs a rock-solid business model.)
Reach out to that person. Ask how they make their income online. And if they can show you how. Ask if they take mentees.
The internet is not the future, it’s the now. You can pay online - you can earn online. Digital entrepreneurship Rules!!! .

Abundance is around you. So as the life you always wanted.✨💫
Trust the Universe and follow your gut.
Always. Fear is a good sign. It’s the “approaching the exit door of your comfort zone- signal” 😉
Today I am so proud that I can share this with you...
I want you to know that there’s a light at the other side of the tunnel.
Have a blessed day,
Happy Friday everyone! 🤗Headed to the desert of Moab, Utah today for my first 50k ultra marathon tomorrow! 🏃🏻♀️I can’t believe this is my 11th state this week! 😝Wowzers-it’s been quite the drive from the DC area! 😆 Whats the longest drive you’ve ever done!? 🤔
Louvre by night. Either you come here very early in the morning or be ready to spend ca 1,5 h to capture this one image. Hundreds of annoying tourists walk up and down this place taking at least 40 selfies (some of them even more). It is almost impossible to have this place completely free of people. 📍🇫🇷Paris, France🇫🇷
🌎 Great Sand Dunes, Colorado
Short explanation: There were rivers, they dried out, the wind took the sand to the mountains.
THEY HAVE SAND DUNES SO HIGH YOU CLIMB 1 1/2 HOURS UP THERE. AND THEY ARE NOT IN THE DESERT BUT IN FRONT OF MOUNTAINS!!!
Our #waterfall day has come to a close. We had an additional trail picked out to do after this one but the kids were DONE after a busy week & they really wanted to see their dad. So we are now home sweet home. Hope you have a fabulous weekend & that you’re having glorious weather like we do today! 🖤🖤🖤

The last of my Belize photos. A beautiful country that has left me with even more beautiful memories. You know in my 20’s travel served a different purpose for me then it does now. I was piss poor and scared. I had no clue who I was or what I wanted out of this life. So I used travel as a form of escape to justify the drudgery of every day living.
Now in my 30’s there is a stillness in my soul. I kept falling and getting up through my 20’s and somehow I fell into this life which I am so grateful to call my own. It’s nice to be on this end of the field and look across at who you used to be. The crazy thing is it just keeps getting better the more I open myself.
So the more places I venture to, the more experiences I dive into, the more human stories I hear...I just keep finding out more about myself. After coming home from Belize I learned this of myself...I am deliberate and fearless. Happy travels my friends.
