From @courtneykiing “Fake it till you make it” “All you have to do is put a smile on and think positive”... I’ve heard countless of things the past few years of my life to block out those deep emotions. I always thought pushing past the bullshit life can throw at us and putting a smile on my face made me a stronger person from the outside looking in. Deep inside, I was just pushing down so many different emotions that needed to be released.
Dealing with things head on and going through stressful times can be scary and I won’t lie when I say, I’ve felt extremely alone in my own thoughts and mind in the past. Even now, I still deal with it at times but I’ve come to realize that crying or talking to someone and releasing those deep down buried emotions actually make us strong AF!
Learning to accept the times that make us feel sad, depressed, angry or scared is all apart of growth and helping us overcome those feelings and thoughts in our head.
In today’s world I think we are programmed to think that “strong people push past shit” and I will say, I do agree with that to an extent... but I also think that strong people are strong because they have had the low times that have made them into a person who can take life head on and know that they will be okay.
With that being said, its OKAY to allow yourself to feel ALL the FEELS! Have a good cry in your car and remember that difficult times often bring the most strength ❤️

My favourite gym environment is one where it’s like a family. My favourite part of group fitness sessions is taking everyone through a stretch at the end⠀
Seeing their exhausted satisfaction from the workout, and then chatting about what they are having for dinner, what they are getting up to that night or the following weekend or just when we will see each other for our next session together ⠀
We create accountability, we build friendships and it’s just all round a great vibe. My job is easy to love, and I think being part of an environment like this makes it easier to love your workouts⠀
